Boutique Boarding
Your dog will live as a member of my family, join us on daily adventures, plenty of exercise, daily updates all with oodles of care and attention. Any dog under my roof has to live with structure and
manners. I incorporate that training into our everyday movements like having them wait to go through thresholds, having boundaries and of course leash manners and recall.
This is different to formal training as it is not a comprehensive programme however you should still see the effects on their behaviour once they come home. I’ll also make sure that any prior training is reinforced throughout their stay so they keep building on the good habits you’ve been working on.
Boarding & Behavior Modification
A programme to get the perfect dog without the massive time commitment. A more intensive option designed to teach your doggie everything from the ground up.
During the 3-week stay, your dog lives and trains with my family every day, learning structure,
calmness, and obedience. This covers all the essentials like crate training, loose leash walking, recall, reactivity, basic commands, heel etc

Hi, I’m Fred, a balanced dog trainer with a focus on effective communication between dogs and their hoomans.
At the core of my approach is the belief that good training starts with understanding how dogs naturally communicate through body language, play, tonality and spatial communication. I’m here to break that down into something practical and easy to apply, so you can learn to talk dog and have the relationship you always wanted with your canine companion.
I offer personalised training sessions and structured courses that cater to each team of dog-hoomans’ needs. As a former teacher I know there is no one size fits all.

When should I start puppy training?
The best age to start puppy training is as early as 8 weeks old. Early training prevents bad habits and helps your puppy grow into a confident, obedient dog.
Where do you offer dog training in Auckland?
We provide dog training services in Central Auckland, West Auckland, and surrounding areas. Online consultations are also available.
Do I need to practice outside the lesson time?
Absolutely! Dogs are smart and will know if they just need to behave well within the lesson. You need to incorporate what I teach you into your every day routine. But no worries, I’ll give you the blueprint to succeed at this
Are we still training if it’s raining?
Yup, like a good dog we still get out there rain or shine! If the weather is looking really serious or unsafe however we will postpone.
Why do you use slip leads?
Si te escribo en espanol me entiende, right? If you got that without Google translate, great, if not that’s exactly how dogs feel about anything we say to them, so think of the slipl lead as the google translator from hooman into dog.
What do I need to bring to my first session?
Bring your dog hungry (don’t feed them prior) and bring the food that you would have fed them.
